Study work
A productivity app for university and adult study work you can photograph
Study apps often look like calendars with pastel stickers. Mad AI: Angry Alarms is a productivity app for university students and adult learners who already know the assignment and still do not sit down. You set a study goal with a deadline — finish the problem set, read the chapter, write the outline — then you upload a photo of the work. Notes on a desk, a textbook spread, a laptop with the doc open. The app checks that picture against the goal. If you miss, alarms continue.
This is not a GPA promise and not a tutoring product. It will not summarize the reading for you. It will make “I did my homework” require a scene that looks like homework. That is useful when the alternative is marking a study block complete from the same bed you were avoiding the work in.
iPhone and iPad only (requires iOS/iPadOS 18.0 or later). Not Android. Free to download, Premium via in-app purchase after a 24-hour in-app trial. If you need accessibility tools, institutional software, or a counselor, use those. Mad AI is just pressure plus proof for a task you chose.

Goals that belong here
Finite blocks: one chapter, one problem set, a timed writing sprint, a lab write-up. Put the object in the goal text so a photo can show it. “Be productive” will not photograph. “Write 400 words of the essay” might, if the screen or notebook is in frame.
Goals that do not
Anything you cannot show without capturing other people, exam content you should not photograph, or private records. Follow your school’s rules. The Privacy Policy is the document for how uploads are processed — this page will not invent extra safeguards.
Questions
Will this raise my grades?
Unknown. The app can make it harder to fake a study session. Grades depend on the work, the course, and you. We will not claim academic outcomes.
Can I use it for group projects?
You can set a personal goal like “draft my slides.” Mad AI does not manage the group. There is no friend or group layer in the current app.

This is the best productivity and goals app
I find myself struggling to get the motivation to go to the gym and do my school work. I have tried some of the other productivity and planner apps and none of them really worked for me and they would always try and make you pay after clicking through like 50 screens. Not only do this app have the easiest sign up process but it also doesn’t make you pay. You can actually use the app and see if it works for you. On top of that it actually has made me more productive. Honestly the app is super annoying and mean but it’s making me go to the gym more lol. I set a simple 1 hour goal to go to the gym and then my alarm went off and I snoozed it. Like 5 seconds later nonstop notifications, like legit non stop. I actually got up and went to the gym just to get it to stop. Great app.
