Gym, run, home floor
Workout accountability that wants a picture from the session
Planning a workout is easy. Doing it on a day you would rather not is the whole sport. Mad AI: Angry Alarms is a workout accountability app in the boring, mechanical sense: you set a fitness goal, you give it a deadline, and you upload a photo from the gym, the road, or the living-room floor. If the session does not happen, reminders and alarms keep going. If the photo does not look like the workout you wrote, the proof can be denied.
That is stricter than a fitness log where you type “legs” from the couch. It is looser than a trainer who sees you miss. Examples that fit the camera: a rack, a treadmill console, a yoga mat in use, a run screenshot if that is the goal you typed. Examples that fail: your kitchen, your front door, a selfie in the car park with no workout in frame.
Mad AI is not a programming coach and not a form checker. It will not design your split. It will nag you until the photo matches the sentence “go to gym” or “run 3k” closely enough for the automated check. iPhone and iPad, requiring iOS/iPadOS 18.0 or later, free download with in-app purchases after a 24-hour in-app trial.

What to put in the goal text
Write the session so a stranger could recognize it in a photo. “Gym” is weaker than “squat rack at the gym.” “Run” is weaker than “outdoor run.” The check compares the image to your words. If you hate that, a silent workout calendar will ask less of you and also let you skip more quietly.
Missed sessions
When the timer hits zero without proof, the app can keep notifying you. That is the accountability. You can still stop the goal. You should not expect a rest-day feature that pretends a skip was planned unless you actually change the goal. App Store reviews about the gym are other people’s experience, not a promise you will train more.
Questions
Can I log a workout without going?
Not honestly. Completion expects photo proof that matches the goal. A staged photo can still fool software. The product is still built against a one-tap fake.
Does it track sets and reps?
Mad AI is a deadline-and-proof accountability app, not a full lifting spreadsheet. Use it to make the session happen. Log plates somewhere else if you need that.

This is the best productivity and goals app
I find myself struggling to get the motivation to go to the gym and do my school work. I have tried some of the other productivity and planner apps and none of them really worked for me and they would always try and make you pay after clicking through like 50 screens. Not only do this app have the easiest sign up process but it also doesn’t make you pay. You can actually use the app and see if it works for you. On top of that it actually has made me more productive. Honestly the app is super annoying and mean but it’s making me go to the gym more lol. I set a simple 1 hour goal to go to the gym and then my alarm went off and I snoozed it. Like 5 seconds later nonstop notifications, like legit non stop. I actually got up and went to the gym just to get it to stop. Great app.

Productive App
This app actually does what most productivity apps promise but never deliver. Once you set a task, there’s no just ignoring it and moving on with your day it keeps reminding you until you get it done. I tried setting a simple one-hour workout, and the constant notifications made it way harder to procrastinate than to just finish it. It’s a bit intense, but honestly, that’s what makes it work. Would highly recommend🔥

This app has been a live saver. I’ve noticed I’ve gone to the gym so much more and I am making less excuses overall
